What exactly is your product guarantee?

 

All of our Windows, Doors & other products along with workmanship come with a full 10 year warranty, which will be given to you upon completed installation. As standard for glazing companies, our warranty covers your frames for 10 years, glass for 5 years and all furniture for 1 year. This means, in the rare case that anything goes wrong within these time frames – you are fully covered under our warranty. Our warranty is also insurance-backed by Installsure, so in the very unlikely case that we cease trading in the future, you are covered by our insurance. If you wish to see our guarantee prior to installation, just ask and we can send you a copy.

Do I receive any certification upon completion, ie: a FENSA?

Definition Double Glazing Ltd is a FENSA registered approved company, and we ensure that each and every one of our customers receives a FENSA certificate shortly after completion of their works which is signed and approved by us. Nic is fully FENSA registered and oversees all of our certifications.

Where do you operate?

 

To keep our business as personal as possible, we currently only operate in Surrey & Hampshire. This helps us to ensure the customers we work with receive our full attention and care when it comes to their home improvements.

Do you offer triple glazing as well as double glazing?

 

Yes, we do. Any of our customers are able to upgrade to triple glazing if you’d like – however most modern double glazing is more than suitable for residential properties.

What energy efficiency ratings do your Windows & Doors achieve?

 

The majority of our Window & Doors achieve an A energy rating which is the highest possible Window Energy Rating for thermal efficiency. However, the energy efficiency rating can depend on what material, glazing & finishing options you choose - and which supplier we opt for your installation based on your requirements and style choices. We can provide specification sheets and brochures for all products outlining the product in more detail. Upon a home quotation visit, we also bring sample products for you to look at, and a digital presentation of all of our products.

How long will I have to wait for my new Windows & Doors to be installed?

 

Once we have placed your order, our lead time for most products is 10 working days. However, in some instances where a higher specification or a bespoke product has been requested, this can take longer - but we can confirm this with you at the time. Composite doors and uPVC windows are 10 working days as standard.

What are your payment terms?

 

Our deposit terms are 50% upon order and 50% upon satisfied completion - however on some larger projects or bespoke products we may require a higher deposit to manufacture the product. If this is the case, we will make sure you're aware of this in advance so that you can plan accordingly.
